V-ILP© SKIN REJUVENATION

What is IPL?

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacialfor Skin Rejuvenation is a laser light treatment that targets pigment issues, such as brown spots, sun damage and red spots, and Rosacea. The bright light passes through the epidermis, drawing out the pigment-producing cells and dispersing the uneven pigment. IPL Photofacial Skin Rejuvenation can be used on the face, neck, chest, shoulders, back arms, legs, and just about anywhere else. PhotofacialSkin Rejuvenation is also an effective treatment for broken veins and spider veins on the face. According to Stanford Medical University, the long-term effects of photofacial actually reverse the signs of aging.

What Does IPL Photofacial Treat?

  • Brown and Red Spots
  • Freckles
  • Sun Damage
  • Spider Veins
  • Redness
  • Rosacea (enlarged facial blood vessels)
  • Pigment Imperfections

How Long Do IPL Results Last?

Photofacial Skin Rejuvenation results perpetually improve over time, with the best results being seen three months after the last treatment. Sun protection and skin care maintenance are essential to the longevity of the results. Sunburns and overexposure will bring back old spots and freckles and dullness will return if proper exfoliation during daily routines are neglected. A new series of treatments are recommended every year for optimal results.

During your IPL Treatment

Your aesthetician will thoroughly cleanse your skin, so you can either come with or without makeup. After the skin is clean, the aesthetician will apply a cool gel to your skin, which enhances the effect of the light waves. The aesthetician moves the laser over the skin in a grid-like pattern, flashing the light about every centimeter. Depending on your need, the aesthetician may go over the area multiple times.

After IPL Treatment

After the treatment, the aesthetician will again clean the skin, removing the gel. You will likely be slightly red and puffy, but there is no significant downtime. You are free to reapply make up right away and return to your normal skincare routine. Be sure to stay out of the sun for at least the next week and be consistent in sunscreen application.

Why Viora V-IPL? What’s the difference in it and any other IPL

Viora V-IPL is setting a new standard for intense pulsed light treatments offering instant, comfortable, and high standard results for Skin Rejuvenation, Acne Clearance, Vascular Lesions, Pigmented Lesions, and Hair removal.

The main principle of PCR™Technologyis to facilitate choosing between three diverse pulse configurations: Single, Multiple, and Rapid.

The Single-pulse configuration represents a typical pulse structure, while the Multiple-pulse configuration represents a pulse that is divided into three sub-pulses with two delays in-between. The delay allows the epidermal cells and smaller vessels to cool down between pulses while the heat is retained in the target tissue (vessels, hair follicles, etc.) resulting in selective thermal damage (the principle of thermokinetic selectivity). Consequently, this Multiple-pulse configuration enables high fluence delivery to the skin, with elevated safety treatment profile and deeper depth penetration, which allows using higher energy fluence for darker skin patients.

The Rapid-pulse configuration represents a train of short and low fluence pulses which enables gradual heating of the target tissue while avoiding injury to the surrounding tissue. This pulse configuration is most suitable for darker skin patients who usually cannot be treated with typical IPLs. The determination of single, multiple, or rapid pulse is dependent upon skin type (I-VI) and symptom’s depth. In general, the lighter-medium skin types are treated withSinglepulseconfiguration, medium skin colors with Multiple configurations, and dark skin phototypes with Rapid-pulse configuration.
