Dr. Lance Culley is a periodontist, which is a specialty of dentistry that focuses on surgical reconstruction of the jawbones for dental implants, surgical placement of dental implants, periodontal plastic surgery, and general periodontal surgery for 25 plus years. He has a natural passion for aesthetics, and in continuing his quest to enhance overall aesthetic results for his patients, he found the American Academy of Facial Esthetics (AAFE). Dr. Culley has reached the AAFE Master Level Injector status in Neuromodulators (like Botox and Xeomin) and in Facial Fillers (such as Juvederm and Voluma). He is actively completing his requirements to achieve the highest standing in the AAFE, which is “Diplomat” status. Currently, he acts as a mentor for the AAFE by helping train other providers in learning facial esthetic treatment.
Dr. Culley also is trying to advance techniques in the fields of cosmetics and periodontal plastic surgery. He has trademarked a new procedure called the“Sanguine Gum Rejuvenation™” where PRP is used in periodontal plastic surgery to help rebuild lost gum tissue, whereas in the past, a second surgery was needed on the roof of your mouth to harvest tissue. He is working with Selphyl, one of the pioneering companies in PRP technology, on this new procedure and seeing how it could translate to other surgical innovations.
Dr. Culley and his wife have three children, the oldest of whom, Julianna, now works with him. He loves to learn and consistently obtains over 100 hours of continuing education with the state requirement being 36 hours. Dr. Culley travels extensively in search of the best new innovation in patient care, safety and education.
